Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, dozens of pastors and evangelists struggle to safely provide Scripture, a place of worship, and basic needs for their congregations, as well as outreach to their communities. During the cold season many homeless Christians are injured trying to keep warm near street fires, when a simple blanket or jacket could prevent this.

The Freedom Inn

After decades of living in fear and persecution, thousands of Burma’s refugees are finally living in peace and freedom in the United States. In 2009, CFI established the Freedom Inn resettlement center. This renovated motel has become a vibrant and dynamic community. Christian Freedom International’s Freedom Inn is a model for immigrant assimilation.

Bangkok

Since 2014, Nearly 11,000 Pakistani Christians fled to Bangkok, Thailand, most of them living an underground existence in some of the city’s poorest neighborhoods—slums in fact. The Christian refugees are forced to live in Thailand illegally on expired visas and passports. In the midst of this humanitarian crisis, Christian Freedom International is helping the Christian refugees survive in the shadows of Bangkok. We have a micro-factory that helps provides an income for families. Our sponsorship program for refugee families delivers funds for housing and essential needs. We assist with medical expenses, often for significant health problems. We provide food, medicine, and essential aid. We launched a remarkable initiative to provide an education for school age children through a small “micro-school”. Without our help, these bright children, as illegals, do not go to school at all. This new program is already producing amazing results.

Burma

As part of their leadership & missionary training, CFI students from Victory Bible Academy bring relief aid, medical supplies, and Bibles to endangered Karen Christian villages inside Burma. They include Sunday School and VBS programs for village children. The political situation, and military unrest in Burma force Karen Christians, and all villagers, in the region to be prepared to flee into the jungle at a moment’s notice. Crops, families, homes, & livestock are all at risk, every day. Our Victory mission trips bring hope, joy, and the comfort that they are not forgotten.  Karen backpack medics are the inspiration for the CFI logo, as our medic supply program is an original cornerstone of the ministry of CFI.

Victory Bible Academy

At Victory Bible Academy, near MaeSot Thailand, our students are persecuted Karen Christians from inside Burma and the refugee camps in Thailand. Victory students train to become pastors, evangelists, missionaries, worship leaders, church assistants, and to gain a structured knowledge of the Word of God. Many complete their education and return to Burma to serve and to give back to their communities. In our 2 year program students study Scripture and English, learn practical skills such as computer/IT, & financial management, while enjoying Sports and Music. We incorporate vocational training programs of silk-screening, sewing, weaving, agriculture, and food service in obedience to the Scriptural standard of 2 Thess 3:8-12. We believe in equipping the future missionaries with the ability to provide a stable future for themselves, their families, their churches, and their communities.

Egypt

In Egypt, the violent Muslim attacks on Christian individuals, families, villages, and businesses continue — and worsen. Kidnappings of Christians, especially children and young women, occur daily. Christians are dragged into the street and martyred on the spot if they refuse to deny Christ. These attacks are mostly unreported by the mainstream media; and the climate of abuse toward Christians is encouraged by Muslim religious leaders there. Christians in Egypt desperately need support and encouragement from caring Christians around the world.

Pakistan

In Pakistan, Christians are targeted by draconian ‘blasphemy laws’, often as retaliation in commercial and personal disputes. There are thousands of Christian families slaving in brickyards in need of medicine, Bibles, food, and education for their children. In many areas, seasonal floods have deadly impact on desperately poor Christians who are ignored by the Muslim government’s relief organizations. CFI work to relieve these and other critical needs such as church security, and help for victims of Muslim bomb attacks.

Iraq

CFI is working inside this dangerous country to bring desperately needed relief aid including food, clothing, water, shelter, Bibles, and medical treatment; school, church, and neihborhood cleaning & rebuilding teams bring hope and spiritual support to Christian refugees, IDPs and villagers from Syria & Iraq. Help us spread the word through our prayer and email alerts.

Our Ministries

Helping The Least Of These

Christian Freedom International is always faced with the challenge of how to most effectively meet the needs of the persecuted Church around the world. Where is the greatest need? In most of the countries where CFI is working, we could easily double or triple our efforts and impact if we had the resources to do so.

HEIRLOOM LOVE

Long-time friend of CFI, Dominic Sputo, shares compelling Scriptural insights on how God’s command to genuinely love one another—especially our brothers and sisters in Christ—applies to the Persecuted Church. Proceeds from purchases made through this link will go to the ministry of CFI.
